How are you liking this weather, residents? We’re ready for pool season to come back to our community of Austin apartments, but it looks like we’ll have to wait through some colder weather in the meantime. Austin is filled with outdoor activities, which is why we’re so antsy for the nice weather to come back. For now, we’ll just have to make plans.
In the blog post below, we’ll be telling you about some of our favorite outdoor activities in Austin. Our hope is that once you read this post, you make plans to check out these outdoor activities as soon as the weather starts cooperating. The next 75-degree day could be right around the corner, and you want to be ready to get outside when it happens!
Let’s get right to the list of activities, shall we? When you finish reading through it, please be sure to send the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at Corazon — the apartments Austin residents choose for contemporary living.
Bike or jog along the Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk
We love the views of downtown that you get from the Corazon rooftop, but they don’t compare to the downtown views you can get when you jog along the Lady Bird Lake boardwalk. Whether you plan on actually exercising or you just want to head down there and snap some pics, we think you’ll thoroughly enjoy your experience down at the boardwalk.
Check out the Bartholomew Pool
When you think of outdoor pools in Austin, you probably think of Barton Springs. Maybe some of you think of Deep Eddy. There is actually another pool worth visiting, and it recently opened back up after undergoing extensive renovations. The Bartholomew Pool on 51st Street has water slides, lap lanes and other convenient amenities that you can’t get at the Barton Springs Pool. Check it out next time the weather warms up, residents!
Make some purchases at East Austin Succulents
Sometimes you water your succulents too much and they all die. That’s okay because you can always get more from East Austin Succulents. This sprawling succulent shop has all the cacti you could ever want, which is why we love spending hours there every weekend. Get ready to say yes to some succulents, residents!
We’ve hit the end of our list of outdoor activities, but we’ll be back in a couple of weeks with another new blog post for our residents! For now, we want to say thank you to those of you who took a few minutes out of your busy schedules to read about the latest brand new blogs from Corazon. We’ll have another blog up on the website before you know it, residents! Until then, we encourage you to pass the time by checking out some of the awesome outdoor activities in the neighborhood around our community of apartments in East Austin.
You can expect our next post to go live on our website sometime in the first couple weeks of February.
